Overview
Relationships are among the most important and most fragile parts of life. A quarrel that will not settle, a partner who has grown distant, a breakup that still hurts: people bring all of these to a spiritual teacher because they want comfort and a sense of direction.
Our relationship guidance is built on three ideas: listen carefully, respect everyone's free will, and keep promises modest. We can offer prayer, perspective drawn from tradition and a calm place to think. We cannot, and do not, promise that another person will return, agree or change.
Cultural and traditional background
In many Indian traditions, the health of a relationship is linked to ideas such as dharma (duty), seva (care for others) and sabr (patience). Elders have long advised patience, honest speech and prayer in difficult times, alongside practical steps such as mediation by respected family members.
We draw on that gentle wisdom. We do not offer ritual methods to influence someone's feelings, because genuine relationships cannot be built on pressure.
